2011 Bay Roan Gelding
Grade Quarter Horse
(15.3h, 1250 lbs)

Bones is a six-year-old Hancock-bred gelding that has been used extensively on the ranch and in the feedyard, and has picked up about 25 head of bucking horses. He has also spent many hours in the backcountry both packing and under saddle, and is solid footed in even the toughest terrain. This is a big, shapey working class gelding that has been on the payroll for most of his young life. He is riding nicely in the arena, loping easy circles and staying soft and responsive, and is sure-footed and long-strided outside. He is still maturing and can be a little watchy and reactive at times, but is always honest about it and hasn’t had any buck or nastiness to him since we’ve had him.

This is a pretty-headed, shapey gelding with feathered feet and a lot of blue to him and all the potential in the world to make a high-dollar gelding with a little more time. If you’re looking for one to invest in and finish out your own way, take a look here. He will only sell to an experienced horseman or horsewoman that will be able to take him to the next level and maximize his potential. He is being ridden regularly, is fit and ready to go. Come take a look at him!
