"Bootsy"
Pats Bootsy Baron
1998 Chestnut Mare
Quarter Horse
(14.2h, 1000 lbs)

Bootsy is the cutest little mare backed by a bloodline that we just couldn't ignore. It may not catch everyone's eye, but the MR Baron Red's have a very special place in our hearts, and when our good friend Neal Hansen offered us the chance to own this mare, we jumped on it. She is completely in your pocket and a total pet, and has a proven record as a performance horse producer. She is a great combination of personality and ability, which she has obviously been passing on to her foals.

She is the dam of Sixes Baron Red Gin, the 2009 mare by Sixes Pick who was the 2014 Denver Versatility Ranch Horse Classic Overall Open Reserve Champion, the 2014 Colorado RCHA March Madness Derby Pro-Am Champion, and the 2013 FQHR Roudup & Review Cow Horse All-Age Limited Horse Open Champion. In addition, Bootsy is also the dam of Red Genuine Baron, a 2011 Red Dun Stallion who was the 2013 Nebraska State Fair FQHR Overall Grand Champion Stallion and the 2013 FQHR World Show Grand Champion Stallion. So, it is safe to say that she is proven to produce both function and form!

Bootsy was bred in 2016 to Smart Little Lena and will have a 2017 foal on the ground via recip. She will be bred in 2017, stallion yet to be determined.
