Sue (a boy named…)

Awesome Frenchman, better known as “Sue”, is a 5-year-old buckskin gelding that is hard to ignore. By Frenchmans Got Perks, a 1D money earning performer himself and sire of multiple 1D earners (including I Like Em Perky and Glflitsfrenchfinale) and out of a talented daughter of Sixes Pick, he is a run/cow cross lover’s dream. 

We bred and raised Sue and know everything there is to know about him. He is kind and completely in your pocket, never having met a human he doesn’t love. He was started right by Zach Curran his three-year-old year and has been exposed to everything under the sun since then. He rides around correct and soft, has tracked the dummy and live cattle, ranch roped and drug live cattle, gathered and sorted thousands of head of calves, steers, bulls, and horses, and has been hauled all over to see the sights. Sue has not been rushed, and we’ve intentionally given him blue-collar, purposeful jobs to encourage a reasonable mind and genuine work ethic, and it has paid off. 

Sue stands just over 16.1 hands with legs for days, is medium built with a ton of bone, and packs a lot of athleticism and can really move his feet. He is easy to get along with, has been introduced to the barrels but is not fully patterned and is ready to finish out. He would be perfect for the 5-year-old futurities this year (he is Future Fortunes eligible)! It truly will not take much to get him ready to enter. Sue is sound, stands for the farrier, jumps in the trailer, and travels without issues. He has a current Coggins, is UTD on vaccinations and worming and has never been injected or needed any maintenance of any kind.
