Prefer Red Wine

Prefer Red Wine is mare bred and raised at the Barlett Ranch, the 2016 AQHA Best Remuda Winner. She is by Royal Blue Gent, a son of Royal Diligence who is out of an own daughter of Preferred Pay. Royals Diligence was a money-earning heading, heeling and tripping horse that has sired many top selling horses at the WYO Quarter Horse Sale, and Preferred Pay certainly needs no introduction in regards to his influence on the racing, performance horse and cow horse industries.

On her bottom side she is out of Sonny Dee Bar/Skipper W mare who brings all kinds of shape, balance and usability to her pedigree.

Prefer Red Wines all the looks, brains and conformation you could ask for, so crosses well in a whole lot of directions. The past few years she’s been bred to a Dash Ta Fame son, and this year we plan to switch things up and have her on the books to be bred back to a really cool son of Metallic Cat.

With her qualities we really think some modern cow horse infusion will be just the ticket to colorful, good moving, athletic baby in 2023.
