Scar

Scar was born and raised at the Bartlett Ranch, which is a place that is extremely special to our family. Dr. Woody Bartlett has now passed and his ranch is no longer part of our world, but his legacy is infused in many of our horses, including this most recent addition in Scar.

The connections don’t end there, though. Scar was purchased from Bartlett’s as a two year old and has been a part of the Grieve family since that point in time, where he was used for a bit of everything. Megan (Grieve) and Kathryn go way back to college days, and her husband Tyler Scales was a talented bareback rider that Randy had the pleasure of picking up a few times over the years until he hung up his spurs for the life of a cattleman. So, when Megan’s dad Bob was ready to find Scar a new job, the calls were made and he was welcomed into our string.

Scar has just been started on bucking horses and we are hopeful that he will enjoy settling into his new job.
